Fenstration: Glazing and Windows

Windows, doors and skylights provide light, comfort, and curb appeal; they also have a have a significant impact on energy use in a home. By installing energy efficient windows that meet requirements of Title 24 Building Energy Efficiency Standards, customers save money while maintaining comfort. The 2008 Standards set minimums in terms of U-factors by climate zones by Package. In addition, maximum fenestration area was modified, credit is offered for insulation construction quality, and high performance replacement windows are required in existing homes.
